Ender Wiggin
Yesterday I read "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. I got it for Beau since it was on his wish-list, but asked to borrow it since it was on so many recommended reading lists. It was great - so many of the things I enjoy about science fiction - the complete realization of a new world or worlds, descriptively written, allowing the reader to sumberge him/herself into the character, surroundings, etc. I guess you could say that for all good writing, no matter the genre, but in science fiction & fantasy, you get to put forth fun and seemingly impossible ideas, and it makes it so enjoyable to read.
